As an SME, the following responsibilities apply:

Director/Manager:

Responsible for leadership, direction, resource allocation, and ensuring the effectiveness of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and business development strategies.

Finance Consultant:

Accountable for financial planning, resource allocation, and cost-effective business continuity and growth.

Admin:

Responsible for managing daily operations, service request management, ensuring resource availability, and supporting continuity and growth efforts.

Sales and Marketing Reps:

Tasked with promoting our services, seeking new opportunities, and contributing to business growth.

Key Components of Business Continuity and Growth

1. Risk Assessment and Management:

Identify and manage potential risks that may disrupt our operations and impact business growth, including but not limited to online security and data compliance.

2. Business Impact Analysis:

Analyse the impact of identified risks on language services and business development initiatives.

3. Business Continuity and Growth Planning:

Develop plans that detail procedures, roles, and responsibilities during incidents and strategies for marketing and business development.

4. Resource Availability:

Ensure resources are available for service delivery and business growth.

5. Testing and Exercises:

Conduct regular drills and exercises to verify the effectiveness of the BCMS and business development strategies.

6. Communication Plan:

Establish a communication plan for timely and accurate communication during disruptions and business growth efforts.

7. Recovery and Resumption:

Define procedures for recovering operations and resuming service delivery, as well as strategies for continued business growth.
