We collect and store your data to provide you with work opportunities and facilitate secure business transactions between ourselves and our clients. We aim for our linguist professionals to engage in delivering services according to the client’s specific needs. The LC webapp is managed and administrated by LC, with IT support provided by Cambridge IT Consultancy, both of which process your data as necessary.

The primary purpose for which LC handles and maintains your data is to provide interpreting and translation services using our company’s technology. This includes technical support and verification of a linguist’s ID and qualifications. In order to deliver these services and facilitate communication between the client and the interpreter and/or translator, your basic contact data is necessary, particularly your name, phone number, and email.
Personal data provided for these purposes is essential for the provision of services on both sides. It also ensures easy accessibility for contact if needed, as well as the management of payments, processing of payments, and handling pay-outs and refunds to you or on your behalf.
Any personal data provided for these purposes is handled responsibly and retained for the period necessary for its fulfillment.
If you are a linguist, you can request information, modifications, or the removal of your data by emailing hr[at]linguistscollective.com or by using your own LC Marketplace dashboard.
If you are an LC Marketplace customer, you can request information, modifications, or the removal of your data by emailing admin[at]linguistscollective.com. Please note that government contracts or direct orders placed with LC are managed by I&T LC Agency; refer to LC Agency for details.
